In the exhibition Exodus, Rein Vyncke shows a new series of paintings referencing subjects like meditation, universal consciousness, plant medicine and the clusterfuck that is late-stage capitalism. At the same time, the artworks presented in this show are a colourful celebration of nature and the human experience. They want to remind us of all the beauty that is still present around and inside us and they are the physical manifestation of an idea from another realm, brought to life by the attention of the meditative painting process.
Rein Vyncke is a Belgian painter who was raised on skateboarding culture and graffiti. He has painted and exhibited his artworks around the globe in places like Brazil, USA and all over Europe since 1998.
